The Zoology Graduate Student Association (ZGSA) is the representative body for all graduate students in the discipline of Zoology at SIU. The discipline of Zoology is in the College of Agricultural, Life, and Physical Sciences under the School of Biological Sciences. 

SIU’s Zoology department has two centers, Center for Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences and the Cooperative Wildlife Research Laboratory.

There is no fee related with this student organization. As a student in Zoology, you are automatically a member of ZGSA.

ZGSA represents the needs and the interests of all graduate students in SIU’s Zoology Department.

We are here to help you navigate your graduate journey while here. We can help you find housing. We send representatives to the Graduate Student Council to ensure your voice is heard. We even plan social events to encourage comraderie within our department.
